A good interior finish depends on what happens before the paint goes on. We take the time to prepare every surface, protect your home and cut in cleanly, so walls, ceilings and woodwork look crisp and even in every light.
We regularly work in occupied homes, so we plan each day to keep disruption low, keep rooms usable where possible and leave work areas tidy at the end of each day.

Preparation
Preparation is agreed in your written quotation and typically includes:
- Protecting floors, furniture and fittings using suitable floor protection such as X-Board, dust sheets and careful masking, where required
- Filling cracks, holes and dents, then sanding smooth
- Sanding and keying woodwork, and priming bare or repaired areas
- Caulking gaps around frames and skirtings for sharp lines
- Spot-priming stains so they don’t bleed through the finish

Can you decorate while we’re living in the house?
Yes. Most of our interior work is carried out in occupied homes. We agree the order of rooms with you, protect floors and furniture using suitable professional protection where required, and tidy the work area at the end of each day.
Do we need to move the furniture?
It helps if small items and ornaments are cleared beforehand. We’ll talk through larger furniture when we quote. Anything staying in the room is moved away from the walls and covered before work begins.
Can you help us choose colours or paint types?
We’re happy to discuss colours and finishes, and to recommend paint types that suit each room, such as more durable finishes for kitchens, bathrooms and hallways. The final choice is always yours.
How long will our project take?
It depends on the size of the rooms, the condition of the surfaces and the amount of preparation needed. Your quotation will give you a realistic idea of timings before you commit.
