About us
About Wise Decor
An Edinburgh painting and decorating company, established in 2021, providing domestic and commercial decorating across the Lothians, Fife and surrounding areas.
Our approach
Decorating done carefully, from quote to handover
Wise Decor (Edin) Ltd was established in 2021 to provide dependable, high-quality painting and decorating in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
We work with homeowners, landlords, businesses, estate managers and property professionals. The scale of each job varies, from a single room to a full commercial building, but the approach stays the same: an honest assessment, a clear written quotation, thorough preparation and a finish that holds up to close inspection.
We’re fully insured, and we’re happy to talk through how we’d approach your project before you commit to anything.
Our standards
What you can expect from us
Preparation comes first
Most of the quality in a finish comes from the work you don’t see. We fill, sand, prime and protect before any finishing coat goes on.
Clear communication
You’ll know what we’re doing, when we’ll be there and what comes next, from the first enquiry to the final walk-round.
Respect for your property
Floors, furniture and fittings are protected using suitable professional floor protection where required, and we treat your home or premises as carefully as our own.
Clean, organised working
Work areas are kept tidy throughout and cleared at the end of each day, so disruption stays to a minimum.
Reliable planning
We agree start dates and realistic timescales, and we let you know straight away if anything needs to change.
Quality control
Work is checked as it progresses and inspected with you at the end, so nothing is missed.
Professional finishes
Clean lines, even coverage and the right products for each surface, finished to a standard we’re happy to put our name to.
